Jamaican events in May consist of J.I.I.M Track & Field Meet, Jamaica Observer Food Awards, Style Week Fashion and several Labour Day Events.
May, which is the last month before summer, has unlimited events for couples, families and friends.
Besides the major events, you can also attend a local Jamaican play “Skoolers,” at the Pantomime in Kingston. Every art lover should be present at the National Gallery of Jamaica for the inaugural Natural Histories Exhibition.
Jamaican events in may will also include weekly parties at Quad nightclub, Fiction Nightclub and Club Privilege in Kingston, and Margaritaville, Jungle Nightclub and Club Jamaica on the north coast.

The premier food award show in Jamaica is sponsored by one of the leading newspapers on the island. The Jamaica Observer Food Awards is extraordinary because the event boost revenue, gives free publicity, and influences the behaviour of customers.

Labour Day Events

Time: All day
While you are on the island of Jamaica, participate in at least one Labour Day event if only for an hour. This is one day dedicated to enhancing the community and its surroundings.
There are thousands of projects scheduled for this day. The work load has no shortage, so assist wherever you can by painting, building, demolishing or repairing.

Famous Nightclub
