Boys and Girls
Championship
When: March 20 to 24
Where: The National Stadium, Kingston
This is arguable the best secondary school track and field sporting event in the world.
Numerous college scouts from worldwide attend
this five-day event to recruit the best athletes to represent their colleges
and universities.
Usain Bolt, Asafa Powell, Yohan Blake, and Shelly-Ann Fraser all once took
place at this weeklong event.

Kingston City Run
When: March 16th to 18th
Where: Knutsford Boulevard, Kingston
For those persons that missed last month's charity run hosted by Sagicor, you have a chance to redeem yourself at the Kingston City Run.
This event is not just one day but a weekend of activities, including a
soca concert, health fair and expo, 1/2 marathon and 5k race/walk.
All proceeds will be donated to four major charities with the key support going
to the homeless population.

Bacchanal Parties
When: March 1st to 31st
Where: Kingston
March is when the bacchanal soca parties become exciting. These events are well attended by local and overseas acts performing at least three times weekly.
The majority of the parties are held in the Kingston region, with Ocho
Rios, Montego Bay and Negril having their fair share of concerts.
You can’t lose with unlimited drinks, food, non-stop soca music and dancing.
Be careful because these parties can be addictive.
Reggae Month

February is reggae month in Jamaica; however, since February is a short month;
quite a few activities spill over into March.
In March, you will find a few more reggae concerts and events going on throughout
the island.
Sandz Carribean Fest
When: Kingston or Ocho Rios
Where: April 1st
Cost: $2,000
Sandz is a day party where you are allowed to take your own beverages in your water cooler.
The location is kept a secret until a month before the event. What we do know is that it will be kept on a beach.
