Jamaica all inclusive vacation packages have become very attractive to the eyes of tourists coming to Jamaica.
With an all-inclusive package, you typically pay one price for airfare, transportation, hotel accommodation, drinks, food and access to the entire hotel property for the duration of your vacation.
Even so, choosing the best one is not as easy as enjoying your vacation because what is included will vary.
Let us go over the basics of what you can expect in a typical all inclusive vacation package.
The first thing to do is to find out if transportation is a part of the deal. Today, most resorts in Jamaica offer free transportation from the airport by shuttle bus to the hotel and back to the airport when it is time to return home.
Then there are other resorts that will take it a step further and also offer free transportation within the area such as Ocho Rios, Montego Bay and Negril.
Food is a major part of any vacation deal. Most all-inclusive resorts such as Sandals, Beaches, Couples and RIU include all meals as a part of their all inclusive package. There are villas that offer at least three (3) meals a day, one is a buffet, and you may have to pay for any extra meals.
For the most part, at an all-inclusive vacation, you should be able to eat all day for FREE right around the clock.
A non alcoholic beverage like soda will be included, but you may find that at a few of the resorts, you may have to pay for alcoholic beverages.
At resorts such as Sandals and Beaches, all beverages at the bars and in your refrigerator are free.
For those persons looking for nonstop fun, you will find that entertainment is free. You can expect day-and-night entertainment from local acts.
Most all inclusive vacation packages differ when it comes to activities. Non motorized sports like kayaking, sailing, volley ball and paddling are free. You may have to pay for scuba diving, snorkeling, and riding the Jet Ski.
Internet access is another optional addition. At a majority of the hotels, you will have to pay for wireless Internet. You can expect to pay anywhere from US$24 to US$50 a week on the Internet.
Other extras may include Spa, kids’ camp, gift shop, photo shop and going on tours. In recent times, a few resorts have now begun to include at least one nearby tour in the all inclusive vacation package.
Before you pay for your Jamaica all inclusive vacation packages, ensure that you know what to expect and what will be included. If you are not careful, you may end up spending more money than you anticipated.
